Ayurvedic Education & Health Counseling
Ayurveda translates to: the wisdom or science of life. Established roughly 6,000 years ago in India, Ayurveda is a system of healing and folk medicine that was once practiced as primary care. Not just a clinical regimen, Ayurveda is a way of life that directly reflects nature and understands its patterns to discover the roots of an issue (in body or mind). It is holistic health at its finest: encompassing the mind, body and spirit.
About Brittany
My quest for natural healing came after a lot of “let downs” from the western medical world. I believe western medicine saves lives and provides excellent care in many scenarios, but not all — things like digestive health, women’s health and mental health often don’t see safe and effective solutions through allopathic care. By taking ownership over your own body, paired with learning ancient wisdom that comes directly from nature, you will become empowered in your own life (and the life of your family). You’ll deeply know how to care for yourself through natural remedies (and get to the root of chronic imbalances). I am a holistic educator and nature devotee with a decade of experience and education, My credentials include:
Yoga Instructor (500 hours), teaching since 2016
Ayurveda Health Counselor (600 hours)
Reiki II Practitioner (since 2012)
Tarot Reader (since 2019)
Plant Medicine guide: I’ve worked with master psychedelic plant medicines and have continued western herbalism education for the past decade.
Ayurvedic Education
Ayurveda at its core is a lens through which to understand nature’s patterns and how it affects your own body.
I offer in-person and online workshops and immersions for groups (like natural digestive health support, women’s health, nervous system support and more).
Current Offerings:
1-1 Ayurveda Health Counseling
If you’re ready to make a big change in your life, 1-1 Ayurvedic health counseling will give you the personalized plan and support to do so. We’ll assess your physical and emotional patterns (from childhood to now), and make shifts to your diet, day-to-day routine and herbal regimen to help support your goals.
Yoga Teaching
I’ve been teaching hatha, yin and slow vinyasa asana practices and meditation since 2016, giving students a chance to feel more grounded in their bodies and minds with a more relaxed nervous system.
I teach public and private classes for individuals and groups to help people feel more calm, centered, focused, and connected to their heart.
